Summer Concert Series - Coordinators John & JoAnn Alfieri

This is a free concert series featuring local talent held during the early evening hours in the Municipal Lot adjacent to the Eyer Building, 317 Main Street. All concerts begin at 7:00 pm. This year's series is sponsored by Hoselton Auto Mall & The East Rochester Chamber of Commerce.

Fireman’s Field Days Carnival – Coordinator Steve Lewis & Pete Calabrese

July 20th - July 22nd

Held at East Rochester School Campus, 200 Woodbine Avenue Open to the public.

This traveling carnival has rides, games and food for all ages. Chicken Bar-B-Que July 19th at 5:00 pm. awesome fireworks displays adorns the sky on Saturday evening.

Rotary Kiddie Parade – Coordinator Tasha Parrone

July 22nd, 10:00 am

Participants meet at Eyer Building Parking Lot, 317 Main Street and walk the parade route to the School Campus where goodie bags, refreshments, and entertainment (TBA) will be provided.

Prizes will be awarded in various costume categories..

Fireman’s Field Days Parade – Mike Kurrasch “Celebrating 125th Anniversary”

July 22nd, 6:30 pm

Begins at Wendy’s, 305 W. Commercial Street. Fire and rescue agencies from the surrounding counties come to celebrate East Rochester’s Field Days. Honored guests, marching bands & fire and rescue crews bring their apparatus to be viewed by all on a parade route through the Town/Village and ending at the Field Days Carnival, 200 Woodbine Avenue.

Sam Urzetta Alumni Classic Golf Tournament – Tom Quinzi ER Alumni Foundation

August 7th, 7:30 am

Event registration opened on 3/1/2023. 

The event begins at 7:30 am at Ravenwood Golf Club (RGC). Flyers and additional information available in early February. Go online to https://www.erschools.org/alumni.cfm . The annual event is sponsored by the East Rochester Alumni Foundation proudly supporting students and families in the East Rochester School District.

Wine & Food Walk – Sponsored by the East Rochester Chamber of Commerce – Linda Snyder

August 19th, 4:30 to 7:00 pm

3rd Annual event Sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce to benefit the Brenton Jacob Memorial Fund is open to the public. Check in is from 4:00 to 5:00 pm. A free concert featuring Ruby Shooz will begin at 7:00 pm. To register visit www.erchamber.org.

Karknocker 5K Race & Walk – Sponsored by the East Rochester Chamber of Commerce

September 2nd, 9:00 am

26th Annual event Sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce to benefit the Finger Lakes Regional Burn Association is open to the public. The 5K Race & Walk will travel through the Town/Village on a USATF certified course. Prize money and medals will be awarded. 15th Annual Scare Away Brain Cancer 5K Race/Walk

October 21st, 9:00 am

This is a fast, flat, USATF certified course through the quaint Town/Village of East Rochester. Part of the “Rochester Runner of the Year Series,” it is a fun, Halloween-themed event that receives outstanding support from residents that cheer participants along the route. This year's event benefits Abby McCarthy, a member of the Rochester running community, as she battles Stage 4 Glioblastoma. Youth Center Halloween Party – Tasha Parrone & Cecilia Parson

October, 26th, beginning at 6:00 pm

Held in the Quinzi Lodge at Eyer Park, 200 Wilson Ave. Fun activities include crafts, games, donuts and cider for East Rochester resident’s pre-school - 5th grade. Costumes are encouraged.

Veteran’s Day Ceremony – Sponsored by American Legion Post #1917 Tom Wojick Post Commander

Saturday, November 11th, 11:00 am

American Legion Post #1917, local, county and state officials along with the public honor local armed service veterans. Ceremony held at the Verzella Gazebo at Edmund Lyon Park, 750 Main Street in view of “The Station of Heroes".

Advent Tree Lighting Ceremony – Al Buckner

December 3rd, 4:00 pm

Held at Verzella Gazebo in Edmund Lyon Park, 750 Main Street (location may change due to inclement weather) open to the public. Sponsored by the Association of Churches and supported by the Town/Village of East Rochester to kick off the Advent Season.
