School Loop Reconstruction project

The goal of the reconstruction of the loop is to cut down on the number of cars repeatedly driving around the existing circular design. A traffic control study counted over 900 cars traveling around the loop in just one morning. This can create confusion and congestion in front of the school at peak times. The new design removes the ability to circle around the loop repeatedly. There will be an in bound lane to the front of the school and an exit lane with signs that will simplify the flow of traffic through the area and remove the ability to circle around. effect we are now seeing.

The main entry is expected to be completed to before the Fireman’s Carnival, July 22nd, with the balance of the sitework completed before school opens in September.
