Contractor's Debris

The DPW is not responsible for contractor's debris - it must be handled and properly hauled away by the contractor.  A contractor is anyone you hire to perform a job at your home or business which results in debris of any nature.  If you are paying a contractor to perform the work, the contractor is responsible for removing the debris he generates. Property owners are responsible for the failure of their contractor to comply with refuse rules and are responsible for all special pick-up fees.
