The Cable TV Commission operates ERCN Channel 12, a community access
television station, and is on the air each week Thursday through
Saturday. ERCN TV12 broadcasts monthly Village Board meetings and
other programs of interest to the community in order to provide an
historic record of the people and events in the Village. This service
is funded through the franchise fee's collected from Time Warner and is
used to operate the station as well as bring in money for the village
general funds. This station costs the village of East Rochester
zero tax dollars to operate but also generates a revenue for the
village.
Original programming produced by ERCN TV 12 include:
- "All About Town" with Mary Cilento and Teresa
Quinzi-Willette, a program highlighting individuals of special interests
on location tapings of local businesses celebrating special anniversaries
or new businesses in ER/ and those with different concepts allowing us to
video tape the inside workings of their businesses, showing how their product
is made and Other aspects of their businesses.
- "What's Cooking" with Miele Battaglini, a program
highlighting local cooks and their Specialties or favorite recipes.
- "1 on 1" show with Ralph Morabito - a profile on
individals in the East Rochester area
- "Short and To The Point" with Teresa
Quinzi-Willette - a program bringing a short form of an awareness of
special interests to the general public.
- "ER Events" are programs highlighting local special
events like the Annual Advent Tree Lighting, Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony,
Firemens Field Days and Parade, Veterans Day Parade, St. Nicholas Man of Year,
Rotary Citizen of Year, etc...
Other shows feature youth sports events, concerts, sporting events,
information meetings, award ceremonies, and graduations. ERCN TV
12 also broadcasts monthly School Board meetings. Tune to Channel

Services provided by ERCN TV 12 include a community bulletin board
formatted by Telvue Corp, traffic and weather
updates. ERCN TV 12 facilities are available to village residents
wishing to produce, edit, title and photograph their own television
programs.
ERCN TV 12 is a 100% volunteer operated station. Please contact
