RE: Walnut Street Restoration Information

Dear Resident,

On Saturday September 9th, Walnut Street settled and as a result the street has been closed due to safety concerns. The Department of Public Works has been working closely with Parrone Engineering, Villager Construction and Unicorn Management, who is the contractor working in the area that has settled.  On Wednesday, September 27th the Town/Village along with local utilities plan to excavate and determine the best course of action. What this means for residents is that we will ultimately be milling and paving the street after all the settling and compaction is complete.  Jim Baker, P.E. from Foundation Designs will be advising the Town/Village as to the best course of action and we will continue to post information on our website at as well as the bulletin board of ERCTV-12.

It is our desire to continue to make the entire community one that residents can be proud of and can feel safe in. We appreciate your continued patience and understanding as we work on your behalf. If you have any additional questions please feel free to contact me at any time.

Sincerely yours,

Martin G. D’Ambrose
