The Forest Road Rebuilding Project is scheduled to begin August 12, 2019 and weather permitting, should be completed by October 28, 2019. Beginning Tuesday, September 3rd, Terry Tree will be removing trees in this area for the remainder of the week. It is advisable to avoid traveling in the Concrest neighborhood area if possible.

Before the start of the 2019/20 school year, a new cross walk was installed on W. Ivy Street near the Ambulance base. This cross walk will be operational 24/7 and flashing only during the hours consistent with arrival to and departure from school. To use at any other time a pedestrian can press a button to operate the flashing signal. This crosswalk is intended to provide safe travel to all pedestrians coming from school or after school activities such as sporting events in the evening.
Did you know that the Town/Village of East Rochester received a grant from the New York State DEC to install a Dual Electric Car Charging Station. The station is located in the municipal parking lot behind the Eyer Building. It is free to use and will assist local businesses as travelers can now visit East Rochester knowing they can recharge their vehicle.

The East Rochester Fire Department is comprised of 54 active firefighters.
The Department of Public Works picks up your trash once a week based on the pick-up schedule.
The Cable TV Commission operates ERCN Channel 12, a community access television station, which is on the air seven days a week.
The Clerk's Office is the best general resource for information about all operations within the Town/Village of East Rochester.
The East Rochester Town Court is in session every Monday, except holidays, beginning at 5:30 pm. Please call the court office for eviction days and times.
